Illia’s Story:
Illia (pronounced eye-la) has thought about becoming a Doula for many years. After her last birth, which was very traumatic, and after meeting many other moms who had similar experiences, she knew she wanted to help other moms to have better experiences. Once she decided to jump in, doors started opening. She trained in Reno, and then heard about the DOULA CO-OP. She felt aligned with their vision for the birth community and knew she had to be involved!
Birth is a beautiful experience, and Illia feels so honored to be at each birth she attends and loves being able to support mommas before during and after baby comes into this world. She feels the transformation in mom is such a beautiful thing to see.
Illia serves all demographics. When she is not at a birth or talking about birth and babies and pregnancy, she is spending her days and nights with her 3 boys.
