Well-Educated Doulas Create Stronger, Healthier Communities.

There is a need for an expanded & more diverse workforce of Doulas in Nevada. We are creating pathways to support and empower historically underserved communities through accessible education so we can all thrive.

We are committed to educating & empowering Doulas & our community through:

  • We provide monthly professional development opportunities for DOULA CO-OP Community Members by highlighting guest speakers to share their insights to broaden our Doulas’ knowledge and perspectives, while contributing to our collective continuous growth.

Are you interested in volunteering your time as a guest speaker? Please reach out to education@doulacoop.org to let us know you are interested in sharing an offering.

  • Are you passionate about becoming an educator, but don't know where to start? One of the benefits of being a DOULA CO-OP member is the opportunity to teach and host support groups in your community on a topic you’re passionate about, with the support and guidance of the DCNV community as you develop your skills and style. Join our community of Doulas dedicated to making a difference!

  • Increasing the diversity & overall capacity of the Doula workforce in Nevada is critical to addressing systemic disparities across maternal & end of life care. Work with DCNV to bring increased training opportunities to communities in Nevada who aspire to support families as a Doula.
